Darlinstone Dubar

I looked at their offers, I would much rather have a guy ranked 59th with offers than the guy ranked 300th something with similar offers.
Looking at their offers other than Kansas offering Foster way back when I would say his offer list is weaker than Dubar's. If Xavier was not hurt this past AAU Summer Circuit that probably wouldnt be the case but was also probably wouldnt be having this debate as well. I want them both in Cardinal and Gold next Season fwiw.

He is an ok recruiter? He has brought in 8 of the top 15 Recruits in ISU History, with 2 of them being in the top 3, and next week will likely have 3 of the top 5. If you want a bigger overall picture of his recruiting he has brought in 15 of the top 30 Recruits in ISU history. I would say he is a few levels above ok.

Thats terrific, but he's 13-23, 9-9 in Hilton, so far in Big 12 play, with 1 tournament loss to a horrible Big 10 team with "his guys". When is all this talent he's bringing in acutally going to translate to results on the basketball court?

Is Haliburton an entire team? Last I checked he is one player. Yes, he's a good one, but one good player doesn't win games. What the team really needs is a good sharp shooter.
They are young and obviously not all with play this season but the current freshman class is probably the best class of shooters ISU has ever brought in. All 4 kids can shoot lights out from the 3 especially Jackson. Anderson by the time his ISU career is come to an end will be the best big man shooter ISU has ever seen.

Tre Jackson looks like he’s going to be a sharpshooter. We have a young team, let them play before you criticize them and call them mediocre. Haliburton shot 43% from 3 last year. Bolton will be a great shooter and if Nixon can get healthy and really dial it in he could be a good shooter for the squad. Pretty much everyone except conditt will be shooting 3’s this year. The numbers in the scrimmages haven’t looked great but that is what scrimmages are for. Season hasn’t started yet and already being negative. I for one am excited for Tuesday and for the whole season!
I agree with 98% of what you wrote. What alot of people forget about Conditt was his HS Career actually started out with him as a 6'4 Guard before he grew to a 6'8 Stretch 4, and now at a near 7 foot he is a Center. He still has those Guard Skills he is just a Big now. The kid can still shoot the 3.

Pump the brakes on Anderson lol

Will Anderson get any playing time this season? He is the one recruit I didn't understand.

" Hey there Mr. Blue
we're so please to be with you
look around see what you do
everybody smiles at you"

The DMR and relevant insiders here said nothing past mop-up duty in the non-con.

Always going to up vote me some ELO.

Last year.

But not in Hilton. See, it's easy to pin prick things when you are a pin p****. We went from last to winning the conference tourney.....in one year....with a completely changed roster. That's coaching. Should he be questioned for some of the things he did....absolutely. Just as CMC should be questioned why he passed 60 plus times against a team like OSU. But that doesn't mean they suck, or should be canned. But you can't be reasonable with unreasonable people. You can try....but it's like arguing with a pig that mud makes you dirty. They just smile and keep rolling in it.

Ugh I'm tired of the Prohm haters already and the season hasn't started yet. ISU has a career winning percentage of .510, 5 Sweet Sixteens, 2 Elite Eights, and 1 Final Four (in 1944) in our illustrious history. Reading some of the posts on here, there is a massive disconnect from where our program IS to where the expectations are.

In reality, we are in the most successful era of Iowa State hoops and it's not even close. Since Hoiberg (2010) we have made 7 NCAA tournaments, 2 Sweet Sixteens, and won 4 conference tournament titles. In the roughly 100 years prior to that we made 13 NCAA tournaments, 3 Sweet Sixteens, and won 2 conference tournament titles. We can attribute the success over the past 9 years to both Hoiberg and Prohm. Both were not perfect, but both have been a part of the most successful decade in ISU basketball history.

Foster is not that good. He should be ranked like 100-150

him being from Iowa also way over inflates his value to ISU fans

if he was from Missouri no one would give a shít he broke up with his GF, what he wore to visits, what tweets he liked, etc.

In terms of being down on ISU, this post is worse than anything from those “hating” Prohm.

Claiming 8 of the 15best recruits is a very selective use of specific recruit ranking services and ignoring JC and transfer players. It doesn’t pass the smell test for long time ISU basketball fans.

Foster has potential. He has all that you would want in a kid that is almost 7 feet tall. He is smooth, athletic, can shoot it a little. If a coach get's ahold of him they could make him a great player.
