Nebraska’s schedule too difficult for Scott Frost

I like Iowa State. But hate most of what these forums stand for. It's complaining to the fullest. These people ***** and can't stand what I read. Besides some. I like getting on here and getting updated. But there are so many complainers. Who cares about Nebraska. I'm from Iowa. We have no professional team. I root for both. But these post just make us look so small. So dumb.

I cheer for both and make up idiotic digs about Iowa's admission standards because it's super cool.

Yep add that to making fun of a town in the state of Iowa because it has cornfields around it....like literally every single town in the state of Iowa.

I'm actually feeling a little bad for their fans. I know how much it means to them.

I wish I could like this post but Lincoln is a better town than Ames hand down. Don't like to admit that bit it's true. And I hate nebby more than most.

Ames is a nice college town. Lincoln is an average at best small city with a large college.

Yep, the big Hok-Fusker 'rivalry' might have wait another decade before there is any interest.

The Hy-Vee Heroes Game. for the Heroes Trophy. Legends and Leaders. Heroes and red balloons and all kinds of forum-tested marketing ploys to make you think you are a contributing part of something that you have been programmed to care about. My team is superior to your team!!!
That late 1990's "Huskers" grafitti logo sucks, btw.

Scott Frost was a winner and tells us about how much winning he did in 1996 or whenever all the time.
Purdue 31, Nebraska 27, Nebraska Tradition 0.
Purdue has their 4 longest offensive drives of the season in this game. Boy, the Blackshirts have never faced an offensive juggernaut like Purdue before. The B1G is unfair in scheduling for Nebby....?

I always thought that the Big 10 intentionally gave Nebraska the toughest schedule possible their first year in the conference. 2nd year also featured all the heavyweights. Tax levied on the new guy to ensure they wouldn't come in and dominate the Big 10?

After that OSU/UW came off the rotation. Eventually they reshuffled the divisions sending MSU/MU to the east. Pelini dominating the **** teams of the Big 10 (Purdue, Indiana, Illinois types) by wide margins. Pelini was losing routinely to the best teams in the B1G his last 2 seasons.

Going back through Riley tenure and currently Frost, Nebraska has had AT LEAST 4 conf games each season against the likes of Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Rutgers, Purdue, Maryland, NW.

Granted MN is on the way up, and NW during their good seasons can be really formidable, but here's what NU gets the next 3 years. 2020 includes a freebie W vs freaking Rutgers.

2020 they get IL, Rutgers, Purdue, NW, MIN Avoids Michigan/MSU
2021 they get IL, Purdue, NW, MN Avoids Penn State
2022 Rutgers, IU, NW, MN, Purdue, IL Avoids Penn State, OSU, MSU

NU does have Oklahoma coming up in 21 & 22.

I think it had more to do with TV matchups than it did intentionally trying to give them a brutal schedule. I think alot of people wanted to see them fail when joining the Big 10 so it made for must-see-tv. Matching them up against the Big 10 heavyweights right out of the gate achieved both missions, lots of TV revenue, while watching them struggle.

Gotta love Iowa fans claiming how the Nebby Iowa rivalry is so much bigger yet they are always rushing on here to defend their rival. Makes total sense.

My wish... Nebby loses their next two so they can't make a bowl.... but then beat the crap out of Iowa in their last game.
Me too, it’s too bad that won’t happen though. At least we will all get to enjoy watching Nebraska lose out at minimum though.
