All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

No it wasn’t. It got the B1G money. That was the intention then and now.

Remember, they linked the yes network to the big 10 network.

people wanted to watch the Yankees they had to buy something they would never, and will never, watch.

I agree with you, just as ridiculous as saying Epenesa has been irrelevant this year.
I think he's been pretty in the middle of dominant and irrelevant and I don't think you can make very many arguments on that take. He's definitely taken a step back as to what he was last year and there could be a ton of reasons as to why he has done that.

Not irrelevant though. The Hawkeye defense has played really well and hes been a big part of that. He honestly is looking at 2nd team conference at this point. Which isn't terrible but far from All- American

I think when some say he's been "irrelevant" it's because the hype for him was that he was going to be like Chase Young at Ohio State. He's no doubt a good DE, but he's not even close to being the best DE in college football like some thought he could be.

So you are either the best or irrelevant?

Are they playing well or just playing putrid offenses? Or maybe a little bit of both?

Iowa gets to face 4 of the worst 15 offenses.

(NW only has 8 TDs on the year? JFC)

Playing really well.

Have kept 6 of 8 opponents to their lowest point total of the season.

That includes their 3 best opponents PSU/Mich and ISU.

So you are either the best or irrelevant?
I never said he was irrelevant. I'm saying the way some people talked about Epenesa coming into the season, the expectation for him was incredibly high. So when he's having an average year, some may say he's irrelevant, which is a bit of an overreaction.

Both. But they have performed well against good offenses too. Best two offenses they've played were Penn St and Clones. held them both to season low point totals. Unless you count regulation vs UNI .
