I wonder if you could sell dolls... er... I mean action figures and sell schools uniforms with all their alternates and have dudes be able to play dress ups with their action figures at their desks or something. They could dress them up in that weeks uniform to match what the players are actually wearing that week. I honestly think this could make money.

I'm not opposed to the combo, but we wore them for the wrong game.

Same here. In a vacuum I thought they looked great, but they looked like TCU unis.

Well, they get to pick what uniforms to take pics in during their visits and a large percentage pick black. Check Twitter, but if you are complaining about black jerseys you are probably too old for Twitter.

White comes out of nowhere on these since there is zero white in the helmet and jersey.

4-5* recruits are not going to Alabama for their uniforms. They’re going there for Saban and a great chance at being drafted and playing for national titles. To compare Iowa State to Alabama is just nonsense

Changing up uniforms is a cool thing fans, recruits and players like. Agree that it's crazy not to do it a few times a year.

Thinking white helmets specifically are more amazing than the discovery of faster than light travel is something special to this board only. I have never understood it and I'm a professional designer.
