Yep. Both of our corners are very young and inexperienced replacing really good starters.... however we didn't whine and complain about it leading up to the game and afterwards like Iowa fans did about their young inexperienced secondary.

ISU got Iowa’s last night. They ugly the game up and sometimes the other team wakes up the next morning thinking about the should’ves and would’ves. The fact that you guys think you played a better game means absolutely positively nothing. You took the L. Iowa played well enough to win. See you next year.
Speaking of double passes without looking I think Brock Purdy has found the end zone as a receiver more times than Oliver Martin in his career

As a part owner of this site I'm surprised you're saying that.
It's really smart to call double passes when playing against teams that completely sell out and bite on everything all the time like Iowa does. It makes that WR screen a lot more effective once you burn the defense for a TD like that for always cheating up on it.

It’s pretty obvious that ISU was better at nearly every position other than kicker and punter and paying the refs.

For expecting Iowa to win, you are not handling this well at all.
Only saw their first game but he kinda had that Jacob Park vibe to him in some interviews and during the game. Maybe not as good of an arm though.
But definitely a 'How'd I look' type but not talking about his technique.
This year is starting out on a similar note as the past two seasons. I'm not just looking at the overall record. Continual teachable "moments" / mistakes. Can't continually have this occur and expect to win against tougher competition. Keeps the other team close and gives them the opportunity to win. I expect the same this year.
