TOP and # of plays were heavily in the Hawks favor. Sometimes total yardage isn’t a good barometer and this game was a case in point

Eh, I think Purdue may be a little down this year. Minnesota and Nebraska haven't exactly been impressive either. Agree with the other three.Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Nebraska, and Minnesota won’t be an easy slate for them.
in-state rivals forum, there is a safe space on the football forumPlease ban all these hawk *****.
Williams likes all the clicks/money they bring in. I guess if it keeps our site free and better than the ****** Iowa one theyre welcome. Please ban all these hawk *****.
Can’t even beat fat Nate
....who will be making far more money than you in the near future in the NFL
How about Eni getting held on that huge 3rd and long for Iowa?
Disagree, epenesa owned him in the 2nd half. Fumble was the game.
No one has seen what the real Michigan is yet, PSU wasnt impressive today, Purdue Minny and Nebby are all winnable barring a sometimes weird Iowa loss like they do.Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Nebraska, and Minnesota won’t be an easy slate for them.
That one was pretty obvious. Not using it as an excuse but it was there. How about Eni getting held on that huge 3rd and long for Iowa?
On the road mistake free football is imperative

Didn’t cost us the game, but the helmet-to-helmet no-call could've changed the game.
Won’t use it as an excuse, but it sure came on a really critical point where we ended up losing a lot of momentum after it.That one was pretty obvious. Not using it as an excuse but it was there.
I didn’t catch that Purdue score tonight. Still though, Purdue has been average at best the last few years and that hasn’t stopped them from beating iowaIf Minnesota is even in the discussion by mid-October then something's up.
Wisconsin and Iowa look pretty decent and I hope Purdue is bad because TCU worked them tonight.
Purdue's in a weird spot. Upset some teams but cant get over the hump of being about 6-6ish.I didn’t catch that Purdue score tonight. Still though, Purdue has been average at best the last few years and that hasn’t stopped them from beating iowa
no. Iowa had 5 scoring drives. ISU had 3.Good news is... we clearly outplayed them and looked a LOT better this game than the UNI game.
Also... JGJ owned Epenesa all game, except maybe one or two plays tops.
And... a non holding call against Iowa, and a holding call against ISU was probably the difference in what actually happened versus ISU winning by 10 or more.
I'm optimistic going forward if they can just find a way to be smarter at times in critical situations.

I really like their coach.
Probably 9 wins for Iowa. Clones I would guess 8 still. Both teams have tough defenses that will win them some ball games. This game tonight wasn't a thing of beauty for either team but it rarely is. Tough circumstances and both teams will probably look a lot better next time out.7-5 seems realistic for both these teams.
Purdue didn't have their QB tonight and the backup looked awful. Not saying it would've changed the outcome but was definitely a factor.I didn’t catch that Purdue score tonight. Still though, Purdue has been average at best the last few years and that hasn’t stopped them from beating iowa
