Wow, these last few pages are really, really sad. I understand both CMC and Iowa State fans are upset that a lifelong Iowa State fan would rather play football at Iowa, but the rationalizations being displayed over the last few pages are downright embarassing.
Iowa State pulled his offer. Too bad he didn't get to live out his dream but it was his fault
It's literally premium information that's been out there for a bit. You don't have to believe it. Nobody gives a **** if you do or not.
I’m sure the offer did get pulled...sounds like CMC’s feelings were hurt pretty badly when Twedt’s interest in Iowa started picking up. No sense in putting additional resources into a recruit when you know he’s not going to end up at Iowa State.

Halsted has never said that Iowa State pulled the offer.
He definitely has not said anything about it being because of lack of talent, as well.

According to him (don't know how reliable he actually is), my assumption is spot on. CMC went jealous middle school girlfriend and stopped talking with Twedt.

I'm not going to lie, but it's hard to know who to trust on this. I don't follow recruiting to the extent many here do and I don't have many big-time insiders as many here claim to. What I do know is the inside info some of these posters below had wasn't great, to say the least. I think I know which way I'm leaning though.
