All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Right now we're projected to go to the Camping World Bowl to play Notre Dame. And that projection was made after we barely beat UNI, so I'm fine with where we're at. Obviously need to be better, but you don't think we're going to make a bowl game? C'mon.

So posting a roster of the All-Iowa team is "pretty useless until after the season is over" especially since "one team has played one game", but bowl projections/opponents with one game under your belt is legit.

Got it.

Averaging 5.9 yards a carry, that is pretty awesome. Thanks for pointing it out. It's been nice to get some of the young guys involved like Goodson, he's gunna be good.

# 70 & 71 respectively. Impressive work.

I brought up the bowl projection because someone else said Iowa State is going to be fighting to make a bowl game.. Neither thing is legit because the season literally just started.

Brick Purdy will be exposed this year without HB and DM. The ISU receiving corps is weak without HB. Jones numbers are all short crossing routes against a UNI defense that will finish in the bottom half of FBS this year.
We understand football is not really your thing.

Bold? Just posting facts. Not sure why posting stats would be a bad thing.
So where did you pull the numbers from?

If all we're doing is posting stats, the average defense Purdy faced last year was 72 (71.6). I didn't find Drake in the ratings, so maybe they would have improved the ranking, but I won't speculate.

WSU - 42
Drake - ? (probably in the 30's I'd guess)
KSU - 48
Texas - 58
Baylor - 91
KU - 82
TT - 86
WVU - 69
OSU - 97

Hold the **** on hero midget. I am simply posting stats for THIS year. That is what you guys are hanging your hat on right now. I assumed you knew that the defenses you guys have faced thus far are less than awesome. If that blows your mind-my bad.
