All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

He said he felt like a baby deer out there and obviously struggled but OK
What facets of the game did he struggle in? Just because he didn’t get a sack or two doesn’t mean he wasn’t effective in his role. If one of your d lineman are demanding consistent double teams that’s a good thing for the entire defense.

When you say you played like a baby deer and were only getting doubled 20% of the snaps I think it's fair to say he struggled

Not a ton of changes. Stanley solidifies himself at QB. Liked Knipfel's moxie, rest of ISU's OL was shaky at best.

You might want to rewatch the game if you think Knipfel is even remotely close to this list. His pass pro is absolutely horrible and his run blocking is pedestrian. He would not be in the two deep at Iowa. In fact, none of ISU's starters start at Iowa. ISU's OL is as putrid as it was last year. The difference is that Purdy does not have the most talented WR and RB in school history to lean on. He looked like a poor man's Jake Rudock against an average FCS defense. And Pettway? LOL.

You might want to take your own advice if this is your analysis of Purdy's game.
