I took it as more of an experiment, not necessarily full time OLB. Assuming we're talking about the same segment.

You can see that Rose has hit the weights in the off-season.

He looks a half step slower than last year though IMO.

The bad news... our OL might not be much better this year.... hard to tell yet though.

Almost looked like Knipfel was expecting Purdy to move right.

Yeah, hopefully that's the case. You shouldn't expect a front side guard to pull back across the line and intercept a DE coming straight after the QB. DE is running straight ahead and can see his target. Guard has to turn 90 deg and find his target. Asking too much of the guard IMO. The QB should move right to run the DE into the blocker.
