I could see him to probably not start or even miss the entire first half, however the incident happened so long ago and I'm sure Campbell has already given him his punishment.
I imagine that Campbell is cutting him some slack, I am sure paying for that item just slipped his mind. Like the time did that night Wirf’s church group met up in the bar.
IIRC, werent the 1 game suspensions for JGJ, Ruth and Tongomoa (sp)? kept pretty quiet until game week last season?
I know you weren't responding to me, but I remember them being talking about the week prior to the season starting.
Looking at Iowa's captains and this could be the biggest gap in talent in the series in recent memory
I don’t think Iowa has THAT big of a talent advantage, though it is advantageous to have the three best players on the field.
Interesting question. Top 5 based on talent. Mine:
1. Epenesa
2. Jackson
3. Wirfs
4. Purdy
5. Eisworth
Epenesa, Wirfs, Jackson are the top 3 and it isn’t even close.
Epenesa had a great year statistically last year no doubt but it's hard to tell how good of a college player he is due to playing against such awful offenses
PFF says Purdy is better than Jackson and Wirfs but yeah your opinion is better than theirs
Epenesa, Wirfs, and Jackson are all preseason All-Americans, and all three are projected top 50 picks in next year’s NFL draft. You could make an argument that Purdy is #4 (though I certainly don’t think he is), but to claim that Purdy is more talented than Epenesa, Wirfs, or Jackson is laughable.
