Hawk fans gonna turn on Stanley

Its kind of laughable considering the physique I am imagining for all the guys on here that are taking shots at Stanley's weight.

Middle aged dad bods with cargo shorts is what I am envisioning.
Weird to be thinking about men like that. Not that there is anything wrong with it..

If he's your starting QB all year with KF's history of regression at that position you're in trouble IMO
I mean, throwing for 26 TDs in 3 consecutive seasons is a pretty tall order for anyone, so I could definitely see some decline in his stats this year for sure. One thing is for certain, and I think you'll agree, the guy as clearly been putting in work.

You must have missed my post earlier. Dude is looking solid, easy to see he's been putting in the work. Hopefully it shows on the field and leads to one more 26 Passing TD season, even though that is a lot to ask.

The team looks slow

Nate Stanley is going to break records and be considered the greatest QB of all time at the University of Iowa. Lol that must suck

Not as weird as a bunch of dudes obsessing over a college kid's physique.
Holy ****. Get over yourself. You need to get perspective.

You know that second part is a Seinfeld line? Thought you might actually not be a rey-rey for one post.

I think that's a little harsh. With 23 TDs he passes a Heisman runner up for career passing TDs and is currently tied with another Heisman runner up for most single season passing TDs. At some schools, he'd have both of those records with a year to play.

Are you saying he's better than Brad Banks?

Like I said. 51st rated Nate Stanley is the greatest QB in the history of Iowa football

No, where did I say that? As a passer, yeah, pretty close. As an all around football player? I mean, he isn't a Heisman runner up if that's what you're asking.

Dude has some pretty good looking stats, that's for sure.

He also has some atrocious single game stat lines as well, which is why there are lots of speculations regarding him going into this season.

Never got into Seinfeld and have probably seen 2 or 3 full episodes in my life.

You have to admit, its pretty strange for a bunch of ISU fans to obsess over Stanley's weight as much as you guys do though.

I mean, so does Purdy and I hear he's pretty darn good. For reference:

Purdy vs Drake: QBR: 29.3
Stanley vs PSU: QBR: 35.4

One of those games was an away game in rain against a ranked team with scholarships. The other was a home game in the rain against a non-ranked team without scholarships.

I think everyone has bad games.
