Statistically Sargent was a better back than Montgomery last year. Statistically the Iowa backs were better than the Iowa State backs last year. The difference is that Iowa returns all their backs. You’ve got a bunch who haven’t proven anything. Iowa RB>>>>>ISU RB. Now that might change. The ISU backs may come out and run for 200+ a game. They haven’t proven anything yet

If you think Iowa had a RB that was better than Montgomery or even a good one we might as well end the conversation now

I think your list is pretty accurate now. Sargent really lacked burst last year to hit the holes/cutback lanes so I'd go with an ISU RB but I'm biased. I also don't really know who Colbert is

Regardless of the “All-Iowa Team”, I really like the depth on the ISU defense (not familiar with Iowa outside of key names). The front 7 (6 I suppose) in particular is DEEP.

Iowa hopes to play 8 deep again on the DL. 6-7 is more likely, IMO.

We didn't have 4 first round NFL draft picks blocking for us and didn't play a Big Ten West schedule
