Twedt no longer committed

Fans will need to get use to this and expect these ecruiting battles going forward. MC & crew have done a nice job of identifying talent at the early stages of the recruitment process and other schools will catch on.

So, if I understand this correctly, KF expects a kid to shut down his recruiting once he verbals to Iowa. Even to the extent that KF might pull the offer if a kid does not respect his commitment and visits another school. But KF feels free to recruit other kids that have verballed to another school and try to get them to break their commitment? What level of ****** up douchbaggery is this?

Thank god CMC just wants what is best for the recruit and they are free to visit others.

No, you dont understand it correctly.

Considering Iowa had a verbal commit take a visit to Ohio State last season and he still signed with Iowa its completely inaccurate.

Noah Fant took visits after he verballed to Iowa...so did Riley Reiff.

As long as the kid is open with the coaches about it they allow it. Eno lied to KF and took OV's to other schools. Granted, some of the blame on the debacle goes to 2 assistant coaches that are no longer at Iowa.

Wrong. They send out an official letter saying kids can't visit other schools

Has anyone asked Iowa's Leadership Council how they feel about this policy?

I know it's crazy some say they don't do this when they literally do it and put it on the PDF's they send to the recruits.

Except Jestin Jacobs, who verballed to in May of 2018, visited OSU in November of 2018.

Noah Fant verballed to Iowa in August of 2015 and took a game day visit to Lincoln later on that fall.

Official offers go out to prospects in early August each year.

As long as the kid is up front with KF and staff they have shown they will allow them to visit and still have a spot at Iowa.

There's very clearly a gigantic gray area in KF's policy on this. Even a die-hard should be able to see that.

I would agree with this.

But to say he doesnt allow kids that have verballed to Iowa to take other visits is not accurate.
