Iowa Football Recruiting

That's a pretty big margin of victory vs a top 10 team
You could easily argue the 3rd best team in the Big 12 > best team in the Big Ten West
yes you most certainly can argue it, but that does not mean you are right or I am wrong. It is simply a difference of opinion.

But in 2018, NW was better than ISU. which was the big west champ and the 3rd place big 12 team.

I mean Northwestern ended up having one win better than us and won their bowl game playing the 4th best team in the Pac 12 while we played the best team in the Pac 12 in our bowl game..

I agree. They dominated WVU that night.

They did play really well against WVU, but claiming ISU would kill Iowa when they did not at the beginning of the year, and there biggest margin of victory against a team which finished similarly to Iowa was only 16 points...... I do not agree with that.

WVU was a better team than Iowa last year.

They won, you guys lost, and WSU was not the best team in the PAC 12. otherwise they would have made the Rose Bowl.

What makes you think he's decent? Also winning 7 games stuff a Big Ten West schedule doesn't make you decent
Based on what he has done in the past and their youthful team last year doing OK.I think he can win some games this year and surprise.

Had Washington State not played Washington on the rainiest night of the year, WSU would've been in the title game over them. Wazzu was the better team, they had a better record, they just didn't win that night.

I watched Northwestern play Akron and Iowa. Safe to say I was not impressed

Catching up here this morning. Let me say something:
PJ Fleck is a phony, carnival barker. He shouldn't scare Iowa fans at all.

I simply disagree with that. Washington had to play in the same conditions.

Sorry, best regular season win was Iowa State. Mississippi State was definitely a better win.

I wouldn't go that far. A better win? Hell, even that's debatable. They finished 8-5 (with a tougher schedule even though we played 1 more top 25 foe). MSU fell apart the last half of that game.

I want to agree with that, but I feel like he will have a decent team this year.
