Iowa Football Recruiting

So Iowa has an 8 win incentive for Ferentz so he doesn't go to New England as an assistant?
He could land a job in the NFL, whatever conspiracy you fix up in your head about why and how is up to you. Now l, at this point in his career i doubt Head Coach would be considered.

Of course he could land an assistant job in the NFL but you really think they fear he's going to leave Iowa for an assistant position so they give him an 8 win incentive?

Why can you land top talent in Lincoln but you can't somewhere in Iowa?

I was responding to the "he wont get hired in the NFL" statement

So if Iowa had better tradition they'd recruit better? That makes a lot more sense than the geographical excuse

Take a look at the top recruiting classes and get back to me what they all have in common. This isn't even an argument, it is common sense.

Nebraska does recruit relatively well considering their geography, but imagine what it could be if they were located in a recruiting hot spot.
