I haven't taken the time to read your post history. I'm sorry for the remark, it was out of line. Nobody should be insulted like that.
I am not, I thought I explained that the law did not permit him or any other faculty member to comment on the situation. And was there a police investigation that said Kirk was guilty of this?
it has gotten a lot closer, but it is still the case. In 2019 that could change though.
ISU was clearly the better team the last 2 seasons. More difficult schedule, and better wins. You won your Superbowl, but we developed into the better team. Period.
clearly? Your margin of victory was pretty close in all of those games. WV was a game that ISU dominated and won, but even then they were only ranked 20th at the end of last year. What about when Iowa smoked OSU? Iowa gets flack on here for getting smoked by Stanford, but they beat OSU by 30 points. You can not have it both ways in this argument. Iowa is a program that ISU is almost on par with.
If by developing into the better team at the end of the year means almost losing to Drake and losing your bowl game, then I want what you are on.

not a chance you win in Ames this year. If Purdy is playing, we win by at least 10.
For anyone that actually watched the game and understood the conditions, they would know that you could barely catch the ball whether that be punters, QB's, WR's, etc. I mean Purdy was wearing lineman gloves because those were the only gloves you could use to help handle the ball. You couldn't plant your feet and cut whatsoever, so you were essentially trying to hand the ball off and run straight forward the entire game. The athleticism gap was completely closed, and our playbook shrank to basically nothing. It was essentially an even playing field at that point.
Still, same can be said for the other team. It did not make ISU worse and Drake better.... that is insane.
Iowa recruits better than ISU, that is what I have posted and I am getting ripped for it. But, the truth is in the results and the rankings.
The sad thing is that you are satisfied with those results and rankings. I would expect more from my over-paid, over-tenured coach. But that's just me.
