INSIDER: Quick analysis on Rayjon Tucker

Prohm can legitimately say to him that he leads the team in scoring next season.

Self will probably say it nonetheless, though.

That's if he's still in Lawrence and not beating the NCAA out the back door by taking the Sixers job after they fire Brett Brown.

Yes. He'd be a starter with an elite PG and a big who draws a lot of double teams. Tucker would get more open looks at three in Kansas' system than anywhere else.

Being "the man" at Iowa State also means he will also be the focal point of the defense with less help and less open looks.
He might get the most open looks, but by the end of Self's tenure, if Tucker chose Kansas, he would have zero wins at Kansas due to vacated wins.

Does he want to be pigeonholed into the role of spot-up shooter or does he want to be the centerpiece of the offense like Marial Shayok was last season?

Shayok standing in the corner all game is not going to Portsmouth like the 20 PPG guy is.

Nope, KU seems to be doing just fine on the recruiting trail right now. More to come between now and June 1.

Once a cheater always a cheater. You better believe that. One source dries up they'll just find another. Been doing it for decades.

If you think that's all he would do in KU's offense then you're lying to yourself. "Centerpiece of the offense" is a creative way to rephrase "the only good offensive player we have".

Meh, sounds like we will find out soon enough.

I do wonder if he was been hanging out with Kansas' Devon Dotson recently, who was working out with the Bucks at the exact same time as Tucker.

Maybe. Maybe not. Just pointing out that the FBI I investigation doesn't seem to be the demise of KU recruiting that you all have been predicting.

I dont see next year's team being at risk of having any wins vacated. But whatever.

This is rich coming from a KU fan. Your little morons couldnt throw the ball in the ocean last year quite possibly the easiest team to defend in the entire Big 12.

Vick and Lawson were their two best 3 point shooters. Garrett and Agbaji can't shoot and Dotson was just OK

So other than it being spring, is a guy on a 5-13 Sunbelt team as good as the attention he is drawing? I haven't watched any highlights or anything but just want to know why his squad was so bad, lack of talent around him?

Portsmouth? Is that where they are having the combine for the guys that didnt get invited to the NBA combine?
