I work a job with an on-the-phone / customer service component. I've come to the conclusion that there are some people out there who genuinely think that they get better results / better service by being a jerk. (hint: they're wrong).

These are probably people that have probably had a least one experience in life where they bullied themselves into a certain result, and decided that's just the way to do life.

Wheaton's Law. It's astounding how many dicks there are out in the world. The current political climate and anonymity of social media aren't really helping to turn the tide.

Also at baggage claim (all airports) people who must get right up to the belt blocking others from seeing or getting to their own luggage.
