I don’t care what anybody in the BigXII does in the post season not named ISU

I'll actually root for Tech and Baylor because I like Drew and Beard but that is it. Most definitely won't be mad if they lose or anything though
Maybe I should clarify. I’ll watch and I might like to see team X win because I like a player, coach, etc. but by no means will it ever come to “Kansas and ttech made the elite 8 so the big XII is better than your teams conference” for me.
Brings up the second point of evaluating success based solely on ncaa results or bowl wins being a pretty stupid measurement of who or what conference is “better”.
I do Not root for KU in the tournament as it doesn't change a thing for ISU. They are what they are and by next season all will be forgotten as far as what ISU's schedule will look like. In the pre-conference season, I certainly like to see them beat other conferences because it directly affects ISU basketball. Once the tourney starts I love to see them lose ASAP.
Haven't formed an opinion yet on KSU. They didn't put a shiv in my back when I told them to get out of our house down in KC, so there's that. lol. Most the other teams I'm good with, cause I've drank with their fans and they were mostly fun. Unlike the trash you see when you go to play at the corralville chickenhawks.

Exactly. When you are the conference strength the conference strength doesn’t matter.

They are on a neutral court playing a team ranked in the top 50, does it really matter?

Have to agree with this. Not that it makes us look better, but who else am I going to follow if we are out........North Carolina...........Duke? I am familiar with the players and the coaches and hope they do well since we are done with them. And if we are fortunate enough to beat tOSU Friday it doesn't mean that the Big 12 is a better conference anymore than if Cincinnati beats Iowa their conference is better than the Big Turd.
Agree. Honestly, we need KU to lose before the Sweet 16. Hopefully the Cyclones can make it back to the Sprint Center. More tickets will be available to ISU in KC if those ******* were knocked out. Hilton South is going to be needed!
I want as many Big 12 teams as possible to get in, but after that, I don’t give two ***** about how they do in the tournament.
The obsession with conferences is so weird. We historically do the same thing in football, by talking up how great the conference was to excuse how much we sucked. It’s just strange all around.
