***Official WV postgame thread***

Honest question. What good does it do to call someone out for something like this? Cam has made a lot of mistakes so I just don’t see the value of bringing attention to something like this. We all want Cam to succeed right? Seems like by posting this, people are trying to bring him down.

You know how it is man, people want to find simple reasons for things that they can place in neat little boxes.

I’m on the cam needs to go after the season train too. His game just isn’t worth the problems.

Listening to the post game interview with George gives me some hope for the future. Very forceful. Tyrese just kind of caught himself and backed off anything he might say, but George was strong.

Agree with the first part completely. If they didn’t care, weren’t invested, weren’t competitive, there wouldn’t be any fighting.

Obviously the guys are as unhappy about the situation as the fans. If they really want to win, maybe they can find a way to work it out.
Don't blame the players. Please. Do you think all of a sudden 10 guys stopped caring?

It wasn't posted as a stand alone "Hey look what Cam did!" post, it was in response to someone else whining about him not starting, showing a really good reason why he's not.

Now, why it was originally tweeted, I can guess, but it's not my tweet.

So, reading things into what people say is usually not a great idea, but as the wheels are coming off, what the heck...

Very recently (like within the last week or two), while Prohm was doing an interview and talking about Conditt, he made several comments along the lines that Conditt loves being at ISU and loves being a Cyclone. At the time, I just thought these were odd comments, as the question wasn't really along any lines that would warrant an answer like that. My thought was, "Is he implying that there guys on the team that don't like being Cyclones or don't want to be here?"

Given what has been transpiring lately, perhaps the answer to that question is "Yes"...

The weird thing is that we've won 20 games this year. It's all about how you get there I guess. Well that and how you do in March and that looks to be like the pile of poop logo.

Basically **** everyone here in this circle jerk, circle the wagons. Play Iowa State basketball. He said he was going to stay in Ames and work on his game.

It won’t help this year, it’s too far gone. But the tone of his voice said he was genuinely pissed off. Gives me hope he will be a leader in off season and set a tone. Kind of like David Montgomery did for the football program.

Now, watch him transfer. Haha.

Observations from a casual basketball fan. This is a young team with a lack of a peer leadership. They had too much success early based on talent and it was fun winning games. While the other big 12 teams progressed and game planned to exploit us, this team put it on cruise control. A couple losses were shrugged off as off nights/poor referees. But, then the losses started to mount and these guys didn't know how to handle it. For one reason or another the senior leadership did not pan out as expected and keep the team unified and progressing. I expect some attribution of some guys and hopefully we get a leader to transfer in or Jacobsen or Young step up into that role.
