Assuming this is it. Wow. This is the voice of the Hawkeye fan base
CW pretty much has to watch Iowa for his show. I would personally shoot myself if I had to do that. Blum...I don't know why he cares. I don't know why anyone outside of Iowa cares.
Good point on Chris and his radio show, never took that into account.
The bad part is they are not all up in arms for the wrong reasons.
They’re signing because of a completely different reason than Fran being a worthless insecure prick.
The thing that really irks me about Fran being behind this is that the University lets him act like an absolute lunatic in a very public position and no one does anything about it. He is a man paid millions of dollars funded by the State of Iowa and he yells, cusses, slams chairs, etc. No repercussions.
Then you have Barta, who has been found by a Court of law to have openly and blatantly discriminated against a lesbian couple, costing the University millions of dollars. The blowback against him? Nothing.
But the you have Dolph, who makes a comment that no one found racist. There was no uproar. There was no calls for him being fired. You did not see the Twittersphere firing up their torches. There was nothing-- it was a non-story. The comments themselves, at their absolute worst, were maybe, slightly bordering on something that someone could stretch into having a racist undertone. But he's the one who gets suspended. Not Fran's crazy ass. Not Barta's discriminatory ass. But Dolph.
Like I've said before, I hope he sues the **** out of the University.

Wow. I don't think Dolph had any intent or awareness of saying something even remotely offensive. But given the situation as it stands, this abomination is absolutely offensive, inappropriate, and just a terrible terrible idea.
Doubling down like this to defend a questionable comment is basically saying "yeah I DID mean it that way, but since we can pretend I didn't, it's OK, right buddy?"
I honestly feel bad for fans like you that are level headed. You guys are stuck with arguably the worst AD in the country, a lunatic MBB coach, a suspended voice of the Hawkeyes and the two voices of your fan base are Levi and Jon Miller. That's brutal
The same media gladly accepted "It was the workout" as an acceptable answer to Rhabdo and then hurriedly quit asking about it. Why is anyone surprised they aren't asking any tough questions now?
