I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

I just can't see Iowa beating Purdue, Michigan, or MSU on a neutral court.
I can see it. Would they be favored? Obviously not. Call me crazy, but I'd like MSU again. Both games were decided by one massive run by MSU. If they play with the defensive intensity of last night, they would at least give themselves a chance.

"Defensive intensity"

Both teams suffered home losses last night. Wondering how the season finishes up for both squads.

I don't know. I'm hoping for a 3-2 finish to be realistic. 3 road wins and 2 home losses seems like the logical choice. Or 2 road W's (WVU, TCU), 1 road L (@texas), 1 Home W (OU), 1 home L (Tech). The way our guys play at home and how aggressive Tech is, I don't think they'll beat them.

What's happened to the "magic"?

Players don't seem to want to protect the venue. Take it for granted I guess. Seems as if they give better effort and are up for an away challenge from what I've seen.

Weird ISU team for sure. Usually they defend their home court pretty well and are mediocre to bad on the road. Been the opposite so far this year. Not very consistent either. KSU game THT and Wigginton couldn't miss, and last night they couldn't make anything hardly.

Jbo can cry all he wants. A lot of games that go down to the wire seem like everyone if focused on if the ball is going in or not. Not so much on the player themselves. Jbo was double covered and it looked like he tried to jump to the side to get a better look when he shot it. I really couldn't see if he got his arm hit.

It just seems that the refs just let things go at the end of the basketball and football games. Never really seen a flag thrown on a Hail Mary pass before. Look at the Miami- New England game last play with the laterals, blocks etc. Everyone was holding there breath waiting to see if a flag had been thrown or not.

I guess you could call it karma for the way they won the other two games in the last few seconds.

I watched the first half and that was bad basketball by both teams. Iowa's defensive strategy of "the other team missing shots" worked like a champ...
Agree to disagree. Both teams played some decent defense. Albeit the first half score was a little skewed due to both teams missing quality looks.

It really is weird. The teams energy at home hasn't matched up with our opponents but then we turn around and play with a chip on our shoulder on the road. Honestly, teams know that it takes their A game to win @HILTON and it just feels like our guys have taken the home court advantage for granted and its bit them.
