I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

There hasn't been a Big 8/Big 12 team not named Kansas that's even played for a national championship since Reagan was in office.

Since 2000, his timeframe, a team from the B1G has played for the national title 8 out of 19 times, repped by 6 different programs.

Bravo to you for not including Maryland.

So thousands of people stormed Hilton's court because of the ISR smack being run here? I dont buy that at all.
Well, not just online. Living in eastern Iowa, it is pervasive in everyday life too. But, then I am not saying that I am not guilty of returning said smack talk back to them too. Difference is, we do it in friendly, good natured way. Politics and smack talk have both gotten too extreme.

Who's your favorite...the Michigan Hawkeyes or the Wisconsin Hawkeyes?

There was one year Jerry had us on the bubble while every other writer had us safely in. Meanwhile he had a couple Big 10 teams that didn't make the tournament.

Dumb button.

Using the most widely respected (and likely most widely used) analytics site is cherry picking? Interesting.

It is when the NCAA paid millions of dollars to develop their own metric, the only SOS listed on the NCAA team sheets is based on that metric, and that metric lists Iowa's SOS at 83 and ISU's at 26.

Writer brutally slams Iowa without saying a single word about them. Ouch:
This feels like another season where the Big Ten could send a bunch of teams to the NCAA tournament but come away without a national title, which a league rep hasn't won since 2000. The top of the conference is led by a pool of good teams (Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Wisconsin and Maryland), but none great. And that reality is one of the reasons the Big Ten is a middle-of-the-pack viewing experience in college basketball. Sure, they're all chasing and scrapping with one another, but the league lacks that premier battle between juggernauts that's fueling the conference races in the ACC and the SEC. -- Myron Medcalf
If Myron says so

Outside of Kansas Jerry has a history of devaluing the Big 12 and over evaluating the B1G. It's at the point were it's predictable and humorous. He still has Nebraska in his first 4 out...

I'd be embarrassed about that too.

I'm embarrassed for you that you root for teams like Wisconsin, Michigan State, etc in the tourney because it makes you feel better about your own team. I hope KU gets blown out in round 1 every year

I might be wrong, but I'm not sure that he was implying rooting for them.. rather just pointing out some stats.

Nebraska is firmly on the bubble.. I don't get it, but metrics love them.
