I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

Baer is what he is, he can provide some value on most nights.

Kriener has flashed and played well at times this year, especially when Cook was injured and at home against UM.

Dailey is awful.

There is a need for another guard and that is Connor right now. If he plays basketball next season I dont see Toussaint or Fredrick taking minutes from him.

Those two are supposed to be worse than Connor? Whoa

That being the case, one would think they would have a notable road win by now. The NCAA tournament isn't in Iowa City.
You're absolutely correct. Iowa needs to prove they can win on the road. They have played well in the few games they've played at neutral sites this year. Albeit, not incredible competition.

Iowa has only played road games against 2 likely NCAA teams (MSU and Purdue). They will have a chance to get one in Madison the last week of the season and OSU is in the brackets as of right now and Iowa plays in Columbus next week.

Agree, the Hoosiers have major issues. If Iowa can win tomorrow night, I think they will be 24-5 when they go to Madison to take on the Badgers in a couple weeks.
That will be a big game and I will actually be impressed if Iowa wins. Wisky isn't a world beater but it would be a very good win on the road. I can't take Iowa seriously (nobody cares, I know) until they win a road game of note.

OSU is a team teetering on the NIT. Four of their last 5 are against ranked teams. Bubble is too soft to predict their fate at this point.

Honestly the fact he has this team as #28th in the NET rankings at this point, regardless of luck, is probably his best coaching job at Iowa
I think his best was the 15 -16 season pre February 17, 2016.

So 4 road games against tourney competition tops? No big 12 team plays less than 7, not including non conference, that unbalanced conference schedule is a life saver.

He's actually terrible, but so is most of the Big 10. He's had lots of luck between injuries on the other teams, easy schedule, and last minute prayers being answered. Hope you guys extend him. He's the worst coach in a Power 5 conference.
King of unsubstantiated claims.

Big 10 has four more teams. Would much rather have the opportunities at more road wins like the Big 12 teams have.

Keep thinking Fran is great. I'll enjoy the meltdown when you get bounced in the first round of the tournament and suck again next year. I'll be right here to say "I told you so".
OK pal. If they get bounced, they get bounced. For sure better than not making it or making an NIT run.
