I’m not really using strength of schedule as an argument, just introducing evidence to refute an erroneous point. Iowa State fans love to **** on Iowa’s record/schedule, but the most well-respected basketball analytics site says Iowa’s schedule is stronger than Iowa State’s.

You are making fun of Iowa fans for getting excited about a last-second victory over a bad/mediocre basketball team. Iowa State fans were similarly excited about a come from behind victory over a bad/mediocre football team. It is hypocritical of you to make fun of Iowa fans for reacting in the same manner in which Iowa State fans react in similar circumstances. The fact that they are in two different sports is totally irrelevant.

However, if you want me to stick to basketball, I will just point out that Iowa State fans stormed the court after a victory over an unranked Iowa team a few years back.

BTW- ISU beats a ranked team and moves up past Iowa in the polls. Iowa wins on a miracle shot against a crap team and stays the same.

I don’t really know what it means to “use strength of schedule as an argument.” I have certainly made fun of Iowa State fans for claiming that the only reason they sucked at football was because of their difficult strength of schedule.

Fran has done a pretty solid job this season. His hand was a little forced with the 3 redshirts that prohibits him from going too deep in the bench.

I would bet there are few Iowa fans or Clone fans who post in this forum that had Iowa winning 20 games this season and they have already done that with 6 regular season games left to go.

You use whatever model when it fits your argument the way you like.
You said Purdue was mediocre and Kansas State was terrible because of 20 spots different in Massey but in Sagarin there was only 5 spots in difference.
