I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

It's obvious Iowa has the offense. Cook is a load down low, and while I don't think he's a tremendous talent, his body can overcome a lot of that. Iowa just needs to keep feeding him the ball.
Garza is up or down.
Joe is good for a freshman.
Jordan if he could just drive the ball and play some defense would be a good player. He's obviously made some big end of game shots but last night he shot it while his feet were still in the logo at CHA. NW was getting into foul trouble down low fast on Iowa, he needed to keep getting it down there.

Unfortunately you might be on to something here... Iowa might be very dependent on getting the right match-ups to make a tourney run. Offensively they're really just missing a PG that can consistently break down the defense. Moss, Wieskamp, and J-Bo can score.. But defensively. WOOF.

Yeah a team with athletic guards will probably run them out of the gym on a neutral court, especially if the whistle isn't in your favor

Iowa could make the Sweet 16, but they're going to need a really good draw. That defense isnt going to do them any favors.

Nice win Hawks. Hopefully we can string together a nice streak following our soul crushing loss. It's hard to deny that was a thrilling victory for the hawkeyes though, reminds me of Naz Long's OSU daggers.

Gutty performance last night. One could argue they should have never been to that point against a bad Northwestern team, but as we Cyclone fans learned the hard way sometimes you run into a team that is on fire on a night you aren't. Good for J-Bo on that last shot. While his Twitter tough-guy stuff I don't care for it's always fun (for me at least) to see a kid get to experience something like a game winning shot.

I think in terms of March Iowa is just like most teams. It'll come down to how well they are playing and how the bracket sets up for them. I could see them winning some games if matched up with the right team, but they will struggle if they play a team with good guard play.

Yep. At that point, we'll have to go zone and hope they're missing and that we can force some TO's.

Dear God, NW is baaaaaaad.

And the announcer just said Jorbo is one of the best shooters in the B1G. (He came in shooting 37.8% on the year.)

Jorbo is an awesome shooter. He is never open and has to take difficult shots. Leave him open and find out how good of a shooter he really is.

Jordan is a career 40% shooter and at 38.6% this year. Your definition of awesome and mine are different.
If you want to use the word "clutch", this year he has been for some games.

If you were a coach, you would leave him open beyond the arc?

Then why don't you play it all the time?

Cause I think it is better as a changeup from time to time. It normally takes the other team a few possessions to figure it out. This team will never be good defensively. They will always struggle on that end of the floor.
