I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

7-18. Combined record of Iowa’s last two conference opponents.

I'm not following. Indiana and Northwestern both have over 12 wins.

Indiana 13-11
Northwestern 12-11

Do you mean 25-22?

Or the last two conference opponents on the regular season schedule?

Wisconsin 17-7
Nebraska 13-11

30-18

Their conference record.

TCU will make the tournament. NW should fire their guards.

I think Collins is fine, his main problem is that he's at a very tough academic school, surrounded by other Big 10 teams in close proximity. They have to recruit nationally but only this year did they make an effort to upgrade their facilities. I don't think firing Collins will solve any of Northwestern's inherent long-term issues.

Some of the Hawk fans are a little fired up over two wins over teams with a combined 28% conference won/loss record. It has nothing to do with ISU- I’m disappointed about the TCU loss.

Notre Dame does fine under the exact same circumstances and is a football school. NW is an all time dumpster but today’s loss was the worst I’ve honestly seen any team in a long time.

TCU still has work to do but is better than NW.

I’ll take the W
Sure, I’d take the W too. All I’m saying is that it’s not apples to apples.
Jamie Dixon has had more postseason success in 1 year than Northwesterrn has in their program’s history.

Yeah, that Penn State team that beat Northwestern 59-52 on Monday, IN Evanston...they’re a real doozy. I’m sure glad ISU doesn’t have them coming up on their schedule.
Penn State needs to fire him too. It’s mind boggling how he’s still got a job.

Notre Dame isn't in the same class or position as Northwestern. Two entirely different schools, one with a long-standing history dating back nearly 100 years. Think Vanderbilt, Rice etc.

I used Notre Dame as an example because they are similar sized, similar academics, and in B1G country.
