Chris unlike Rob Howe, likes having the rivalry. Rob is a douche who reads something negative on HN and bans you no matter who you like. CF is way better than HN or HR. I swear that every time Iowa loses in football or basketball there is always some rocket scientist that starts a thread to fire someone on each of those sites. Some trolls get their rocks off by coming on here to gloat.
Jorbo makes a 3, they win. He misses it, they'd be calling for Fran's head, permanent benching of him, complaining about not playing to there potential. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Meh..Going to Des Moines is like watching a tourney game in Greensboro or Wichita. Nothing to do outside of the game.
Looking at their remaining schedule, I would say they could luck out and do that. The only rated teams they play are at home
If you can't have fun in Des Moines, it's on you.
They have two ranked teams in Ohio State and Wisconsin on the road remaining and face very talented Maryland team at home. Iowa does have two games remaining vs Rutgers and that's a major plus but the last game of the year is at Nebraska. Given how Iowa played at home vs Northwestern, the road game vs the Huskers in Lincoln is far from a gimme unless they fall apart completely. I think they lose to OSU and Wisconsin and win the rest.
