I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

I don’t know. Some of it is due to opponents trying harder to prevent him from getting clean looks, but he has missed a lot of wide open threes this year. He was shooting much better over the last ten or so games prior to the MSU game.

Are you surprised a starter regressed under Fran?

Purdue is better than Iowa, so I am sure they will play Michigan State closer than Iowa did.

If the halftime score of 19-37 with Purdue leading says anything, then you are wrong about them playing MSU closer. I thought Iowa was up 8 against MSU at halftime.

Howe is also a dictator on HN. He doesn't like it when you say something against Iowa. Since he is an admin on there he drops the ban hammer on you right away. Glad to see people are finally seeing who he really is. On pace to give Iowa a "blackeye".

Howe, Miller, and Thompson.
The collective voice of Iowa fans.

Yikes

Iowa played well enough to win against Wisconsin and Michigan State, and in both games couldn’t buy a shot from the perimeter. Games like that happen when you rely heavily on three point shots, unfortunately.

Disagree with your assertion that Iowa has a lot of work to do. Right now they are a solid 6/7 seed. They have 8 Q1/Q2 wins, which is way better than most teams in that seed range, let alone teams that are considered on the bubble. If Iowa gets to 21 wins (5 more), they are a lock for the Tournament- regardless of who those wins come against. 20 wins probably gets them into the Tournament too.
You do understand that the Net rankings aren’t static right? We don’t know what a Q1 or Q2 win is right now..,

No clue how Purdue got their six losses but every time I happen to watch them they look incredible.

It’s kind of like watching our team yesterday and wondering how we have 5 losses. They are an impressive program.

Iowa has the same number of Q1 wins as Iowa State, more Q2 wins, and has played a more difficult strength of schedule. If you think Iowa “has work to do”, then so too does Iowa State. Just because you don’t think wins against Nebraska or Ohio State should count for anything, that does not mean the committee views things the same way.

ISU SOS is ranked at 32nd today, Iowa's is 68th. So the Squawks SOS is not better than ISU's. https://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/rankings/sos

ISU's NET ranking is 17th, while Iowa's is 24th.

I do find it amusing that Gopher fans fully embrace their dislike of Iowa and it isn't even their biggest rival (UW).

@GopherHole As #Gophers MBB gets ready to take on the Hawkeyes tomorrow, it’s time for roll call!!!!!

WHO HATES IOWA?!?!?!
