I guess Iowa's collapse will start in March this year...

If Iowa shot its season average from 3 against Michigan State it would have had a great chance to win the game. Instead, Iowa shot terribly from 3, which is why they lost by double digits.
You don’t think that had anything to do with playing a legitimately good team that can actually play defense? Unlike the previous 5 before Michigan State?

But let’s look at reality.

You asked why Iowa hasn’t beaten any of the top teams in the B1G. I told you: it’s because in the two games they had a chance to win, they shot the ball terribly from three. I’m not trying to construct some alternate reality where Iowa beat Michigan State by 100 points, I’m simply answering your question.

You guys also lost because you played zero defense in the 2nd half. Spartans scored 52 in the 2nd half.

Iowa has the same number of Q1 wins as Iowa State, more Q2 wins, and has played a more difficult strength of schedule. If you think Iowa “has work to do”, then so too does Iowa State. Just because you don’t think wins against Nebraska or Ohio State should count for anything, that does not mean the committee views things the same way.

They look at road wins also there numb nuts. Please let us know when they have a quality road win. I don't think Penn State or Northwestern would fit the bill. Keep trying though.

Sure, they were forced into some more difficult shots because of how good Michigan State’s defense was. But Iowa’s best shooters missed several wide open threes, and throughout the course of the game had at least four or five shots that went 90% of the way down and then popped out. Iowa got enough open looks, they just couldn’t knock them down. It happens.

Well it doesn’t help you guys when Jo Bro likes chucking up 30 footers cause they look cool. Any opponent will let him have those all day long.

Jorbo hasnt improved since he was a freshman at all. Other than playing defense optional Penn State, he's played terrible lately.

Yet I have no idea how those fans expect to ever beat a good team other than their Dec super bowl. They don’t have an elite offense and defense is optional for any Fran team.

Iowa has the 10th most efficient offense in the country. If that isn’t good enough to be considered “elite” by your standards, then what is?
