All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

I really don’t care what you do or don’t believe. I haven’t told a single lie on this website, as far as I can remember. If you choose not to believe something I post, I’m not going to lose sleep over it.

wtf kind of statement is this? I haven't lied or at least that I can remember anyway.

You still don't know what a lie is, and you call yourself a grad student?

FYI, this is you confirming that you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to ISU.

So is it your belief that one can only form opinions by watching every game in its entirety? If so, why does the ISR forum even exist? I highly doubt there are any Iowa State fans qualified to opine on Iowa’s football or basketball teams.

No, you can be honest and say, "I was able to catch 3qtrs of the game." "I was able to see ISU's first half but changed it because I wanted to watch Michigan."
The idea that you have only watched ISU when they played at Iowa is very unbelievable.

I saw the Iowa game obviously, but after that never really watched another ISU game till the bowl game.

Why is that? I watched every Iowa game (whether live or DVR’d, except for the Wisconsin game, which I attended in person) and had season tickets to my current school’s football games. I didn’t watch much college football at all outside of that.

Because no one will believe that with the amount of time you spend on here.
Hell, you've claimed to have food poisoning and logged on during it.

No you didn't.

I’m on this forum because it has a ton of discussion about Iowa. If the ISR forum disappeared, so would most of the Iowa posters.

Did you not watch Iowa State’s game against Oklahoma State? At least a half dozen of Iowa State’s completions were to wide open receivers resulting from blown coverage.
Yes I watched the OSU game. No, there was never anything that approached that level of blown coverage in that game. Most of those are great throws and catches in tight windows. The ones that aren't tight windows like Jones and Milton at the end are guys running actual routes, not just running to a wide open space due to a complete brain jam by a defensive player.

Usually you see defenses that get caught peaking into the backfield when their front is getting manhandled in the running game, not the other way around. That was just a flat out brain dead play on defense. MSU had some absolute studs on the defensive side of the ball, but that was simply a terrible play.

Either way, Iowa executed much better and was much more disciplined and won. It wasn't perfect, but considering the typical sloppiness in bowl games, it was about as good as you can ask.
