2 straight games on the refs

Refs were **** but so was everyone on our team not named Tyrese or george

I don't know that refs are biased against ISU as much as they are favoring a physical style that ISU doesn't play. There are teams in the Big12 that like to play with contact and the refs are allowing it in conference play. It isn't going to go away. ISU needs to be able to adjust to play with this style.

I hated the officiating as much as anyone in this game.

6 of 12 at home from the line in conference play is bad.

Especially when your AA misses the last one that would have at least forced us to overtime.

True, but tripping the ******* guy with the ball to the ground has to be a foul.

The refs were terrible, but we still had the game won. We were up 5 at the end and on the FT line with a chance to go up 7. Missed, then KSU goes right down and scores to make it a 3 point game. So instead up 7, we were only up 3 because of that missed FT.

Then also missed FT again at the end to lose the game.

Refs sucked yes, but in no way cost us the game. Our players looked liked they didn't care at all. They care about KU and nobody else because they think they're too good for everyone else. That is what cost us our last 2 games in Carver Hawkeye too.... we thought we were too good for Iowa, so we don't play hard. I really can't stand that attitude at all.

The reversal on the out of bounds was absolutely terrible. Other than that, the officiating was terrible but I wouldn't say one sided at all. They were letting both teams get away with murder

The team looked tired and seemed to put in a halfhearted effort for the first 30 minutes. Bad body language. I don’t know, but if this is a reflection of future game effort and style of play, we’re in trouble. Commentators said home games must be handled like epic events in terms of effort, energy, planning and play. Basically, winners never allow themselves to get beaten at home.
