Well there goes the Ames High School job......
So does that mean he's closing the door on being an assistant coach/recruiter for the TOE?
I'd be surprised to see him in the college ranks....not saying impossible, but definitely surprised

Maybe he'd have a different outlook on recruiting if Adidas would help him?

Can you imagine the reactions of some on here if he comes back to college?
I love what Fred did as a coach and a player but could not care less what he does next now that he's moved on. We've got a coach that is very good and wants to be here. That works for me.

I think it all depends on how Ryan Saunders does the rest of the season. If they struggle, it's Fred's job.
Word on the street is that the Hawkeyes want to hire him as an assistant to Fran where he only deals with recruiting.
Does that mean Fran would still be in charge of clip board tossing and laptop kicking?
