Show me where I am wrong, you are correct iowa has placed a lot of players in the NFL, but only one at a skilled position other than TE.
That is why you can continue to produce NFL players, but struggle to win more than 8 to 9 games a year.
Look at your bowl game, Miss. State had great d lineman, and LB's, what did that get them but a loss. Their QB could not throw the ball at all, no RB stood out, no WR stood out.
Its one thing to have talent, but you have to have a difference maker at the RB, QB or WR to be a great team, Iowa has none of those and has not for quite a while.
Are they difference makers in the NFL dumb ****? Wadley is not on a roster, and Beathard is a life long backup at best. Keep spreading the Iowa has unbelievable talent BS all you want, but do it on an Iowa board. Both were fine college players, neither was an All American anything.
That senior year at Iowa clearly helped sharpen his skills for the next level. His next contract is going to be massive.

He is the one that wants to be an orthopedic doc someday correct? During the bowl game I seem to remember a coach being quoted as saying "If he is the doctor in the room I would trust him because he studies and prepares incredibly well." or something akin to that. Seems like a great student athlete and is making a good decision. He can't really go wrong if he has the skill set to get drafted well, and if he doesn't he has a great plan b. From the 3-4 games I watched he is ready for the League.
