I got wind of this tonight....thought I'd pass it on for this board...(its legit)

*Sounds like a great time!! We should show these people how Cyclones really support their team!! (and how to pre-game)

HOOTERS!

Free Beer & Cheap Grub at the Vegas Hooters Casino!!!
Friday from 5pm till 10pm – buffet for 10.00 & free Miller Lt’s for
anyone wearing the Iowa State colors.
Saturday – same as above with specials, starts at 10am till 5pm ish.

We will have bands going on around hotel, pool party, giveaways, Hooter Girls, and lots of football.

Come over and let me know if you need anything else. We will start in Pete & Shorty’s, and move over to Dixie’s if we get too many fans. We have lots of space, so tell everyone.

-------------------------------------

Many people I have talked to are planning to go to Hooters and then possibly to Margaritaville. The band at Margaritaville starts at 11 and they have a huge area for Cyclones to hang out--no program. There isn't a rally on Friday night. ISUAA and Athletics Tailgate on Saturday with a brief program at 4:45 or so (Cy, Cheer/dance squad, Jamie and Jeff Johnson).

My psychiatrist tells me I need to start addressing my irrational fears. I thought he meant one-at-a-time, however.

I'm scared of free booze, women and gambling. I guess I'll just have to keep him on speed dial.

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like a good time; but we'll have to get there early--before the USC fans drink our free beer.

this was an amazing 2 days at Hooters, Friday was packed and Saturday was great, although the pool scenery on Saturday was...nice. Anybody else notice the 2 couples by the pool, especially the blonde and her perkiness.

I CANNOT believe how many ISU fans were there on Friday night. The ENTIRE casino was packed and 90% percent of the people there were wearing cardinal and gold. Completely surreal.

I can not believe how many times they ran out of beer and just started handing out 6 packs of plastic bottles. It was amazing and the 10 curfew really never ended, it lasted all weekend.

Yeah. I agree it was awesome. Anybody see the bartender in the country bar?

We went in there when they opened up to avoid the crowd for free beer at the other spots in there. Needless to say, we bellied up and did not leave! Very good scenery.

I was in there as well, both were very nice. Did there happen to be 2 of you in there that returned Saturday nite?

The blonde bartdender at the front entrance bar was so pissed off all night long about having to pour cups over and over again for very little tip.

No, I wanted to return on Saturday, but it wasn't us. I was @ a few blackjack tables "dealing with" the loss until 6am.........

How many people were thinking that during the Hooters stuff (and the entire weekend) that they might be talking to another poster from CycloneFanatic? I did more than once....

Dude...I was thinking the same thing about CF members. As for the Country bar Bartender.........

That could have been one of the hottest girls in Vegas our group decided and I probably saw you if you were at the bar for that long.

I'm beginning to think I saw a lot more CFers than I could have imagined. It seemed like there weren't that many people at Dixies but my memory could be shaky...as for the waitresses one was real and one wasn't...i asked :) the dark haired one I thought was nicer but i couldve looked all for a long time.

I wore my yellow CF shirt all day on Saturday. At Hooters and at the Game. Never had anyone say anything to me :skeptical::no:

I'm sure that people noticed our group. We were about 11 obnoxious drunks (section 105 i think row 7).... really great seats...

The section next to us contained a rowdy old UNLV fan and his wife... BOTH (the wife and him) nearly got into a fight 2 times, and the ushers had to calm the situation down.

The owner was there on Friday night. I told him he had my favorite beer, free and cold. He said come back on Sat. we'll have plenty more. It looked like he was having a good time with the college girls.

We were there before the game for several hours and it was unreal. Everywhere you looked...bar, blackjack tables, pool area...there were ISU fans. It was really, really cool to see us take over a whole casino!
