Iowa is really going to struggle to defend us. That being said, it's their Super Bowl and all these Iowa kids we didn't want will have a chip on their shoulder and play out of their minds.

The only predictions I'll make are: Weiskamp will certainly play & Iowa will shoot lights out because they've been cold lately. And Cook will be MAX BUG-EYES after a dunk.
I like the way our defense is playing, and having Lard and Talley as depth gives us the ability to pound with their big guys. Iowa has to stay hot behind the arc all night to have a chance.

I think this game comes down to officiating. Iowa State has been really good not sending teams to the free throw line while Iowa has been really good about getting to the free throw line. It's going to come down to how officials call whatever it is Iowa is doing to draw fouls.
ISU 75-69. I think it will be a nail biter and frustrating at times, but I think we are clearly the more talented team.

Not going to predict a score, but I'm fairly confident that ISU will win. I think the hoks are struggling a bit, and Bohannon has turned out to be eminently "guardable". None of their other shooters scare me, with the possible exception of Baer.
I think that Iowa is going to be way too fired up and emotional compared to us. We don’t need this game at all and we’re a little cold to start. They run out to an early big lead and we can’t claw it back enough. Lots of FT’s for both teams.

78-69 the good guys. Our lengthy defense will break up their perimeter offense. Hopefully we don't give up too many easy 2's.
The first 10 minute scenario...is exactly what I fear! And if that happens...it just won't be a fun game to watch (for Iowa State fans)!
