I am really pleasantly surprised by both Oklahoma going to the Playoffs and us getting the Alamo Bowl.

Hell yeah!

A lot of stars had to align and every single one did. Love it! I wish I could go but I am excited for all the Cyclones who will be able to experience San Antonio.

Got my tickets in Section 101 and got my hotels in San Antonio (Westin Riverwalk) and Austin for New Years

Got our hotel room and tix booked! Two nights ago I was lucky enough to grab a room at the Westin on the Riverwalk for $100+tax.

Anyone know the plan for Friday afternoon? Is there tailgating at the Alamo dome, or will it just be a party at the Riverwalk until game time??

Are you sure you got the Westin and not the Best Western? $100 is an incredibly great deal. Normal price is $300!

I am excited we are playing Washington State and the Mad Pirate, and simultaneously wish we were playing some bland team that may be "easier" to beat. I guess this is what growing up feels like...

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. It's not a room with a balcony or Riverwalk view... But it was only $115 total/night. Haven't seen any other deals like it.

Definitely a failure on the revenue management team's part. I saw $201 a night but I used a couple of my free nights plus points so it was a drop in the bucket for me.
