Is Fran building a regional powerhouse or just calling Iowa fans idiots and morons?

Only ISU fans can use excuses for things. When Iowa does it, it isn't allowed.

Right. Considering it was Iowa's first game and UMKC's second I'm surprised Iowa escaped with a win. We all know how important that first game is, and what a distinct disadvantage it was.

You're angry in your new form.

Lol, this is one weird subject for ISU fans to get so worked up about.

Listen, we are rooting for Fran. You can't imagine how hard we are rooting for Fran. We would hate to, er, for you guys to lose him.

So yes, we are extremely invested in everything he does and just want to see him do whatever it takes to stay with your program for a very long time.

UMKC moved to a power conference? Wow.
Sad thing for Iowa basketball fans is that Wieskamp doesn't appear to be a savior. He scored almost all of his points from behind the arc. I didn't see any ability to break down the defense or drive to the basket. I still remember his game against Iowa City West. He couldn't drive to the basket against quicker Iowa City West players

After starting the car up last night, the radio was on - set to 1040 (my wife had been listening to it earlier in the day). The beginning of the Iowa game was on - the starters were being introduced - and Bobby Hansen was going on and on about Jorbo's 3pt shooting ability. He likened him to Ryan Arcidiacono (from the Bulls) and said that Jorbo would be a valuable addition to any NBA roster. I won't deny that Jorbo is a good 3pt shooter - but so was Tyrus McGee and Tyrus played a LOT better defense than Jorbo (and that is saying something, too). Tyrus is not on an NBA bench - don't think Jorbo will be either.

Maybe he meant the Namibian Basketball Association?

Hansen played in the league and said that?

Oh so we're talking about football now? Sorry trying to keep up with the changing narrative.

I'll play your game. Look up 2015 against Purdue. Iowa was 10-0 coming into the game with a chance to clinch the west. It was also senior day...oh and did I mention 10-0 with everything out on the table for them? Yeah they were 8,000 less than capacity PAID attendance...

You failed to mention the part where Iowa City received nearly a foot of snow in the hours leading up to the game. Not surprising in the least that you would intentionally leave out that small detail.
