Don't have a link cause I think each case is different and it is a fluid thing, but for the most part if the recruit is up front about their intentions then the schollie isn't pulled. When you go behind their backs and go on visits secretly, that is when it gets pulled.
Unless something changed from 2016 Jacobs is breaking the rule put in place by Iowa and will have his scholarship pulled
Well all I know is that there have been recruits that told the coaching staff about visits to other schools and kept their offer and stay committed to the Hawks. The rumor is that Jacobs won't have his offer pulled cause he told the coaches his intentions. It is all moot anyways as most people think Jacobs will be a Buckeye.
Didn't Iowa pull Eno's scholarship even though he told the two assistants he was taking unofficial visits? I'm so confused, especially since this is an OV
The policy is "You must not visit another institution". They pulled Eno's scholarship for doing this even though he told the coaches. Do you not remember this?

Eno went on an unnofficial visit, told the coaches and got his scholarship pulled. Jacobs is going on an OFFICIAL VISIT and isn't getting his scholarship pulled? This hasn't been explained to me before because it literally just happened with Jacobs
