This isn't one of their better teams. They'll win 10 games though.

The truth is a lot of teams in CFB have easy schedules. Iowa's schedule is more average or even above average than it is horrible.

What happens here is ISU has the #1 SOS in the nation right now and our own fans don't even realize it because it's just normal for us to have a tough schedule. Iowa's schedule is actually a tough schedule compared to the cakewalks a lot of ACC and Pac 12 teams get, even the SEC can create some super easy schedules with the combination of only 8 league games, 4 cupcake slots and super unbalanced conference draws.

Big 12 and Big Ten East are the only two situations where no matter what you're going to have a tough draw. Every other league can produce an easy schedule even if a team tries to add a tough non-conf game. Even the SEC West which is incredible most years...you get a favorable east draw and you schedule 4 wins...bam, easy schedule.

Appears that our only hope for another L is Pedo State. Although they do seem to struggle with NW on a regular basis, too. Purdue, Illinois, Nebraska. Quite the pile of turds there.

I actually think Purdue is pretty good. They have a varied offense w very good receivers. Remind me of a Big 12 team esp on offense. Don’t think their coach will be around for long.

I truly dont get fans who say well X team beat Y team so therefore Team Y is just bad rest of the year and Team X will always be better. Maryland was better that day....Every day since Tx has been the better team IMO.

Outside of week 1 TX game....which if u have been paying attention to any thing to do with college fball in 2018 u might actually realize that Tx is playing like an entirely different team right now.. Happens week 1.

So you are telling me that Maryland was able to get up and play week 1 but Texas wasn’t, and so for that reason we should disregard that game? I mean, you said they haven’t beaten anyone so I guess we aren’t even taking that game into account.

The first game matters just like the 5th game. I never said Texas hasn’t improved, but they lost to Maryland. You have to count it.
