Josey Jewell could have never been one of the best LB's in the state because he was going to Luther until Iowa offered him on signing day. Same with Rose and Desmond King who were going to Ball State until they flipped late
The difference being nobody had them on their 'All-Iowa' team as freshman and Iowa has a reputation for player development.
So you'll put a freshman over two all conference senior CB's but it's absurd to put a freshman LB that's graded out higher than any LB on your roster? Lol!
Brents is a 4* and matches up against NFL talent in practice and on gameday. Bit of a difference.

Sure looks like a 3 star to me but yeah when I think Iowa's WRs I think NFL talent. Lol
Purdys numbers are so much better and he looks better going off the eye test so I really don't understand it. Like there's no logical reason you can back that up besides saying "well stanley plays for my favorite team"
4* like I said (cue the Rivals isn't reputable comment). Fant & Hockenson are future NFL players, that's two right there, which coincidentally enough is the exact same number of players ISU has on ALL NFL rosters - good for 108th in the country.

So Peavy isn't one of the best CBs in Iowa? Also how often does a CB go against a TE? Usually that's a LB or safety
