All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

There is no way Eisworth and Lewis aren't better than Gervase. Surprised you with Uwzurike over Bailey, Colbert over Spears and anyone over Payne. Payne has been great the last few weeks. Also not sure I'd even have Fant on there at this point, he barely plays and doesn't appear to be liked by his teammates

You think Gervase is better than Eisworth and Lewis @benjimill? In the last two weeks both have graded out best in the Big 12 at their position and Lewis just was Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week

Iowa seems to be an above average team. Most of their B1G schedule is against bottom feeders. They play a couple B1G ranked teams every year. If they win a lot of games and go to a upper bowl game, they usually get spanked. Why is that? Because they play three tough games a year and two are normal in the B1G. Can't be any more transparent than that.

Take the 2015 season. Lost to MSU in the B1G Championship game and got outclassed by Stanford 45-16 in the Rose Bowl. They beat a #19 and #20 team that year and then lost to the #5 and #6 team to finish 12-2.

This is just seems what Iowa has done year in and year out lately. Am I wrong by saying this? Iowa just seems to be OK with being an above average team and like Barta wants it that way.

And if we played them at the end of the year we would beat them every time

Oh man....thanks for posting that video. I knew Oklahoma State’s defense was bad, but that was brutal. I counted one great pass from Purdy, everything else was to wide open receivers or against DBs that were turned around and had no idea where the ball was.

1st play of that highlight was a sick play, not sure how you could argue that

52 seconds in was big time

1:16 was a young Baker Mayfield move

1:44 was a dime

2:05 was a dime (doesn't get better than that according to the announcer)

3:18 that pump fake and that pass (LETHAL as the announcer said)

3:45 even off his back foot threw it 45 yards in the air, my God

You can't reason with him. Iowa hasn't had a QB that can throw the ball like that in 20 years so you will have to forgive him for being a little jealous.

First play was a good throw, but the defender was all over Butler and for some reason decided not to make a play on the ball. Questionable decision to throw into tight coverage.

:52- Nice run

1:16- He could have walked into the endzone. Embarrassing defense by OSU

1:44- Easy throw to a wide open receiver

2:05- Great throw

3:18- Easy throw to a wide open receiver

3:45- Didn’t have the arm strength to lead the WR, but didn’t matter because no defender was within 15 yards of him

I feel sorry for you. You are so envious us that your attempts to downplay our stud QB come off as pathetic and stupid.

So he didn't throw a great pass the first play in that highlight while on the run? Lol oh my God. And I love how hitting open receivers in stride is nothing special but your own QB can't even do it
