I don't think it is bad to pass on information as long as you qualify it with how solid the source is. This is a message board, not a court of law. I say get the information out, and if it is sketchy, then say that it is sketchy.
Me personally? I have my suspicions that the information was totally made up. I thought I'd throw it out there, as it seemed to be from a more qualified source that what you had, so I thought what the heck, if @CyTwins throws stuff out there, so will I.

I have no inside info, but it did feel like Iowa spent considerable time on Wisconsin for this year, unfortunately it still resulted in a double digit loss. They are just a better football program right now and one Iowa needs to eventually get on even footing with.
Your information has been proven false, Gervase never lost his scholarship. Yet you still grasp at straws and act like that is true.
Gervase was told he wouldn't be on scholarship this year, Cedric Boswell left to bring it down to 84 and Gervase got his ship. Either be informed or stop pretending like you know what you're talking about

Blair said he wasn't on scholarship, Boswell left and Blair said he got put back on scholarship when that one opened up. It was all discussed on here and multiple Iowa posters with HR subscriptions said Boswell's leaving meant Gervase would be on scholarship again. You are very uninformed on this one, trust me I would know

You really need to quit acting like the info on Rivals confirms Gervase lost his scholarship. I am a paying member of Rivals, I saw all the threads at the time, and I have gone back through it and I'll give you the actual run down of what happened.
June 9th, Blair posted he had heard Gervase lost his scholarship
June 11th Reported that Boswell was leaving the team
June 12th, Blair said he was informed that morning that Gervase was ABSOLUETLY on scholarship
June 12 Some poster (probably @YeahBuddy) theorizes maybe Boswell left and opened up scholarship for Gervase since he was on scholarship.
Then the rest of the tread was mocking Cyclonefanatic and specifically you for claiming Gervase lost his scholarship.
Blair never said Gervase lost his scholarship and got it back because someone left. That was never said by Blair, Tom, or any Hawkeye reporter anywhere. It was never ever once reported as fact that Gervase lost his scholarhip, just was a rumor, and a rumor that turned out untrue.
If you want to continue your troll because the "friend" that is close to Gervase shared this personal information with a known Gervase hater, than that's cool, I can't "prove" that wrong. What I can prove is the BS you are trying to say was said on Hawkeye Report when you "claim" you aren't a member.
