Blair was told Gervase would not be on scholarship because they didn't have one for him. Shortly after a player transferred out and they gave it him one back. Blair was not wrong when he said what he said and never said he was and I'm not giving you my source who knows Jake and his family but Jake was absolutely told he was losing his scholarship. Iowa fans on here said it was no big deal because he was a walk on and it was just a one year deal since they had an extra one

He never vetted it or got a second source. That is why he posted it as a heads up rumor on a pay site, and wasn’t trying to break news as he knew it wasn’t even sourced yet. No journalist posted this because it was an internet rumor for a half a second. Nobody transfer at that point, Iowa was still actively bringing in players (Sargent). To say he lost his scholarship in the middle of June is just a dumb troll, and you know it.
