Wisconsin should be embarrassed that they didn't win by more. They dominated the line of scrimmage. They just had dumb penalties and bad play calling that killed drives. They beat themselves and still won by double digits. That's how crappy the hoks are. Oh how I wish we could play there schedule. 10 wins easy.
Good to know you watched the entire game and made these observations. I didn't catch the ISU vs Akron game, why didn't ISU win by more?
Watching the game with a handful of Hawkeye neighbors, it was incredible how fast excuses and creative logic to explain how Iowa is actually better.

Your boy #12 Greg Eisworth was really good against Akron FWIW. No wonder Iowa so desperately wanted him out of HS
Played a very vanilla offense. I got the sense that playing Akron between OU and TCU was a trap style game. Throw in the murder of CBA, and everything seemed off from the very beginning. Almost was a play not to lose than play to win.
Eisworth has been unbelievable in his progression this year. Hits like a freight train also.
We kept it pretty basic, didn't want to get anyone injured. The game was never really in doubt. Montgomery was a little dinged up so he didn't play much of the 2nd half. Needed to keep him fresh for the real games.
Good for him, I'm glad he could recover from his performance against OU.
Never even heard of the guy and I follow recruiting pretty close. Doesn't show an Iowa offer on Rivals or 247, not sure why you feel the need to lie about an offer? Not that I care, ISU will beat Iowa on recruits from time to time.
