That was before you guys got a huge advantage that I completely underestimated. The team that played Oklahoma last Saturday would win easily in that rat hole you call Kinnick. Next year we are going to be REALLY good, and you will be, well what you always are....meh.
Ebbs and flows. Three years ago we were a yard short of playing in the CFP. And there's no denying the rich history between ND and Iowa. The whole country would've loved it.

Back to this I see. There are teams out there that do play 11 P5 games. I know its not the norm but there are unique circumstances for it and currently ND is one of them.

Wisky is a bigger brand, you know it and so does everyone else. Neither are national brands, but just look at the pt spread for Saturday for all the evidence you need (hint, the wrong team is favored)
And how many years would the home and home lasted???
This is why despite what many claim the series is actually good for both programs, not to mention the state of Iowa as a whole....

I said I greatly underestimated the effect it would have on the game. It was obvious that we were light years better in week 2 after getting some game tape on our young players.
If we played now, I guarantee we would win easily.

I can't speak for Pollard, but I would like a 2 year break so we can play a school with a national brand and get some better exposure for our up and coming program.
But the game is way too important to Iowa. Without it, what would they do all off season?
We had two teams interested in playing us in a home and home and we were going to drop Iowa to play them
