Iowa Football Recruiting

Iowa offense regressed, or did it have something to do with facing the ISU defense verses their first week opponent?

Couple reasons. Iowa kept it Vanallia for sure, as we are focused on winning the B1G. We were content to run nearly every first down play and be in 2nd and long all the time. We were also breaking in 2 new LB, hurt us on that first drive, but it got corrected.

Hah, you and @rholtgraves actually agree on something and are using the same troll. Now I’ve seen everything.

The truth hurts sometimes. I know you are idiot but just didn't realize how big of an idiot you are until now.

How many passing yards has Iowa had against Wisconsin lately?
2017 -41 yds
2016- 153 and almost half to a RB (Wadley)
2015- 77 yds

And Bell himself stated “Iowa has to prove they can actually throw the ball.”

So, yeah. That is a bad game to have him visit. Especially when on his other visits he will see offenses that have really good passing attacks like Purdue, OSU, and PSU. Iowa didn't have a great chance before this but this likely makes the chances of getting him even smaller.

Nah, Kinnick at night is among the best atmospheres in college football. I like that he'll be there to take it in. That said, we ain't getting David Bell.

I know you hate seeing the talent gap between Iowa and ISU get bigger in favor of the Hawks but this is a pathetic troll. Anytime you can expose a recruit to the best atmosphere in the B1G it is a good thing.

In all seriousness do you really think the talent gap is getting bigger? I am intrigued.

Since KF recruits better than CMC every year, most likely. It isn’t growing like it was under Rhoads since CMC is recruiting slightly better than Rhoads did.

But so is KF in that time. KF wasn't tearing up the recruiting world while Rhoads was ISU's coach. The difference is about the same now during the Campbell era as it was during the Rhoads era.
