Missing the big picture

After the disappointing cancellation and walking straight into hate week I think we may be overlooking what was a very informative week in the Big XII. Let's overreact to the first week results.

My thoughts were a top 4 finish looks very reasonable. It appears TX is still not back. Kansas State is not anything to right home about.

It really looks to me that OU, TCU, West Virginia, and ISU are the likely top tier of the conference. If ISU can win 2 of the 3 games against those schools a Big 12 championship game appearance is going to be silencing all the questions of a make up game that weekend.

The kool aid is flowing heavy at my house right now. I don't even care if we win at TOE next week, I just want us to get useful tape to prepare for OU.

My complaint, after waiting so long for football, and then not getting to see our game, where the hell are the replays of other games? I can't find one damn replay on Sling Orange and Blue. Nothing on the crappy free preview of the Pac XII network, nothing on ESPN 1- Ocho. Nothing on FS1. Seriously you paid a lot of money for the content you should probably let people watch the reruns because the content becomes stale VERY quick.

I also mostly agree. We don't need or want every team in the league to be very good. We need the top 3-4 to be very good and then having some bottom feeders to get the win totals up.

Season is still very early...but def appears KU, TT, Kstate, Baylor and yes Tx are very winnable..Tx will prob find their groove right at the ISU game. Okie state im not sure about..team they played was awful so..

I agree that we potentially have one of the top 4 teams in the conference this year. Still need to prove that on the field. Win the games we should, and try to get one or two toss ups.

I’ve been fooled before many times about K State and a poor week 1 performance by them. Not ready to say they won’t be good.

I would be a lot more optimistic if I had seen more than 1 offensive and 1 defensive series. I don't think much has changed from Saturdays results:

OU, TCU and WV fight it out for the title
ISU, Texas, OSU, KSU could all end tied for 3rd
Baylor, TTU are meh but each will probably win a game they shouldn't
Kansas is bad, I mean really bad. I mean Jim Criner bad.

I think ISU might make a play for that top tier but just need to see it before I take the kool-aid.

A lot on the line with the Hok game now. Would have been nice to have a win under the belt going into that one. Would be pretty tough situation playing OU without one in the win column yet.

Edit: Ok I looked through the Watch ESPN app and its mostly crap for replays as well. I bunch of SEC post game interviews, the game from last night and some no names. Nothing for the Bix XII.

If you have a device that runs Sling it can run Espn Go, which has replays of all games on ESPN and ABC this week. Whatever you run Sling on (roku, amazon fire stick etc) just add the ESPN go app and log in with your Sling credentials.

I'm looking at it on my phone and cant find jack. Logged back in and still no use unless I had a specific game to find. Ok, works better on the computer than phone.
