Ferentz's Emphasis on the ISU Game

2 of your LBs would start based on experience. Corners too, based on experience. Our safeties are better. Both back 7s have problems.

I'll reserve judgement on our safeties until I see them play a few games. Lawrence White is pretty good, and Eisworth could be pretty good too. I'll give ya Hooker at safety, he's good, but Gervase is nothing special at all. I think White or Eisworth could be better.

So Iowa State’s new safeties get the benefit of the doubt, but none of the players in Iowa’s back 7 do. How convenient.

How can you possibly disagree with this @benjimil? You have one proven player and that's Hooker

Just because they haven’t proven anything doesn’t mean they are terrible. Iowa has a ton of young talent at CB and S, and Jones (at MLB) and Nieman (at OLB) were good enough to wrap up the position battle at their respective positions in the spring.

On paper they are awful. I don't think our safeties and Vance are terrible either, I actually think they're very talented but they're also huge question marks

So that proves not much. Thank god you guys play in the BIG West.

Also all your CBs opposite of Jackson proved they were terrible last year

I’ll give you a chance to retract this statement right now if you want to. By the end of the season, this will go down as one of your many embarrassingly bad talent evaluations.

Hankins played well at the end of the season and is going to be really good. He’s better than whoever Iowa State’s 2nd corner is. There is a reason Harbaugh tried so hard to flip him from Iowa.

This is a really dumb take. Just because a player does not have starting experience does not mean they are awful.

Derpycy leaves and Benji fills the void. Outstanding.
